Galena Illinois is the home for the Galena Wine Lovers Weekend held every year on the last weekend of March. This year’s wine festival is held on March 23, 24, and 25. A wine auction and wine tasting sponsored by Planned Parenthood of Greater Washington and North Idaho (PPGWNI) will be held on Friday November 5th 2010 at the Marcus Whitman Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Walla Walla. A wine tasting will start at 7:00 and will include a silent auction, music, and hors d’oeuvres. The live auction will start at 8:30. Tickets are $90 per person or $170 per couple with the proceeds benefiting PPGWNI’s health center in Walla Walla.
