Gordons wine bar is a wine bar with rich history. Thought to be one of London’s and the world’s oldest wine bar it has been around since 1890 in its present form. The bar owned by Wendy Gordon and is run by her family has wooden walls covered in historical newspaper cuttings and other memorabilia.
The atmosphere in this bar is one of its greatest points and makes it easy for enjoying wine but the wine list is fantastic too. The list includes many types some such as the ports and madeiras served from the barrel. Add to that, food such as the homemade pies and cheeses, and you have a delicious menu.

Just found information on this wine bar on Facebook and went to their website. All it turned up was the menu but I must admit these are some of the best prices for food especially the awesome selection of cheeses. The only thing I didn’t find was the types of wine they served or the prices. Just thought that it would be kind of important information.
I searched through some of the review websites and got a little more information on this wine bar. What I found is that Sasha’s Wine Bar is listed as one of the area’s trendiest bars with a selection of more than 60 bottles of wine available by the glass, bottle or 1.5 oz. serving. Although that’s a little less information than I like before making a decision on visiting a WINE bar if I’m in the area I may have to visit anyway.
If you have ever been to Texas you will soon discover that Texas has a very striving wine community and Texas wines are actually very good. If you are in Dallas you may want to try enjoying wine at Vino 100 Wine Bar.
The first thing I noticed about this wine bar is the friendly down home atmosphere that could be described as something the bar in the TV show Cheers. It’s not the most flashy bar you’ve ever been to but they have staff that is very knowledgeable about wine. Add in the great cheeses they offer, and the low prices what else could you want. They have a great deck to enjoy your wine and the weather. Of all the wine bars in Dallas this has to be close to the top of my favorites, if not at the top. The good thing about researching for this website we have the opportunity to find places that we can visit in different cities. We will be traveling to California at the end of this year so we will be sure to visit the Vin de Syrah Spirit & Wine Bar San Diego.
