Cadence 2007 Red Mountain Tapteil – Bordeaux Blends Red Wine

Cadence 2007 Red Mountain Tapteil – Bordeaux Blends Red Wine
Red Wine by Cadence from Columbia Valley, Washington. 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Cabernet Franc, 11% Merlot. This is our tenth bottling of Larry and Jane Pearson’s superb vineyard, and a wonderful decade has it been! Altogether deeper black fruit than Ciel du Cheval combined with a powerful sense of Tapteil dust, a signature trait of this vineyard. There is a solid core of massive blackberry and black plum fruit. The freshness of the vintage is present in the slight orange peel accents on the palate. The tannins are typically Tapteil: big, ripe, long and dense. This needs a steak like fish need water.

A Wine Video About Robert Mondavi Winery
If you’ve read this site enough you’ll know that I am a big fan of wines from Mondavi. Here is a wine video that I found on YouTube about one of my favorite wines and wineries.
Robert Mondavi 2004 Oakville District Cabernet Sauvignon – Red WineRed Wine by Robert Mondavi from Napa Valley, California. Blend: 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot The 2004 Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon is a luxurious wine that captivates the eye with hues of deep blue and purple. Vivid aromas unfold with layers of blueberry, blackberry and black currant, complemented by hints of cocoa, vanilla, spice, cedar and exotic black tea. The big, juicy structure frames rich, generous flavors. Powerful and mouthfilling yet tightly knit, this youthful beauty will blossom with age. A classy wine that’s rich and intense, with a concentrated mix of mineral, currant, blackberry, dusty herb and cedary oak flavors. Though deep and well-structured, this maintains a sense of elegance and grace, making it a good choice for near- and mid-term cellaring. Best from 2008 through 2014. Wine Spectator 93 Points

Age-worthy, but can be enjoyed now with roasted meats and bean dishes. Dense ruby red in color. The nose is fruity and dense with the scents of rich red berries, spice and toasted notes.
